After purchasing a new domain name for our business we set about finding a shopping cart software we could easily set up and use almost immediately. We already have a succesful web site using Actinic v8 shopping cart software but this is a new concept and we wanted a new challenge without the software being to challenging.

We opted for CubeCart.
I mean lets face it there are literally hundreds of shopping cart software programs to choose from. Just log on to google and see how many results you get for the search term ' shopping cart software'.
 
CubeCart by Brooky.com, is an E-Commerce script written with PHP & MySQL. Actually CubeCart is free Ecommerce program that has their copyright written into it.   If you need to edit or remove the CubeCart copyright they charge a fee per domain, we paid about 45 GBP and you will be issued with a License Key that automatically removes the copyright once the key has been applied. You also need to have a server running with the following installation. PHP 4.1.1, MySQL 3.23, GD 1.6. You might need some understanding of server settings, html and php.
If you decide to customize the built in template then you might need extensive knowledge of this type of configuration. My advice is either buy a template or just go with the default layout and get your web site indexed as soon as possible.
